America West Realty is a locally owned and operated real estate company that was started by Stephen Parks, Jr., in 1999 to represent buyers and sellers in the Gallatin Valley. In 2005, a second office was added in Twin Bridges to expand our ability to serve clients throughout Southwest Montana.

Collectively we offer over 25 years of experience in new construction, residential, land and commercial real estate. We are also very knowledgeable in financing with 15 years collective banking and mortgage experience.

Steve was raised in Lafayette, California where he became a fourth generation realtor after graduating from University of the Pacific in 1989. His grandfather started Harry A. Parks, Inc., a successful real estate company in Oakland, CA in 1948. Steve soon moved to Walnut Creek, California to work for Cushman & Wakefield Commercial Real Estate for 8 years specializing in commercial leasing, build-to-suit and sales transactions in the North San Francisco Bay area.

In 1996 Steve moved to Twin Bridges, Montana to be near his family’s ranch and enjoy the wonderful outdoor activities that the area has to offer. He received his Montana Real Estate Broker’s license in 1997 and moved to Bozeman where he started Frontier Financial Services, a mortgage company, which he operated for five years. He went on to start America West Real Estate and Parks & Barbieri Construction both based in Bozeman. He specializes in commercial real estate and development projects and builds custom homes in Bozeman.

Steve is a big supporter of the Bozeman Hawks, Montana State University and the Youth Empowerment program. When he is not working, you can find him fly-fishing, skiing or hunting. He is an avid outdoorsman and still enjoys the family ranch in the Ruby Valley. He stays busy with his wife Lynnell, raising three boys in Bozeman.

Jody Hester was born and raised in Iowa. After receiving her degree from the University of Iowa, she moved to Grenoble, France where she lived for 2 ½ years before returning to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to start her real estate career. There she specialized in new home construction and existing home sales. After three years in Cedar Rapids, she decided to fulfill her dream of living in a ski town and moved to Bozeman to continue her real estate career. In Bozeman, Jody’s focus continues to be on new construction and existing home sales. She has gained a reputation as a hard working agent who makes the home buying and selling process fun and treats her clients as she would friends and family.

In her free time, Jody can be found on the slopes in winter, and a golf course, river or hike in the summer. She is also very involved in the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce and Southwest Montana Building Industry Association through which she is on the Parade of Homes committee.

As a realtor with America West Realty, Andy understands what is important to his clients. Andy was born and raised in the Ruby Valley and continues to call Twin Bridges home. He has approximately 13 years experience in the real estate business having been a commercial loan officer, real estate department manager and vice president of Ruby Valley National Bank in Twin Bridges, Montana.

In 1993, he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Jamestown College in Jamestown, North Dakota. Andy has lived in the Ruby Valley his entire life and enjoys waterskiing, hiking and hunting in the local mountains.

After graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Jenny began life in the career world at an advertising and marketing firm. A year later, she moved to Bozeman and spent three years with a title and escrow company developing a strong background in real estate closing procedures. She then moved on to work for a national residential developer, working on the land acquisition and development side of real estate before joining America West Realty in the spring of 2006. She obtained her Montana Real Estate Sales Associate license in January 2007.

Jenny is actively involved in the March of Dimes and the United Way of Gallatin Valley. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, camping and floating the many rivers surrounding Bozeman.

Andrew was born and raised in Bozeman, MT where he received his Bachelors degree in Business Management from Montana State University. His family has owned and operated a business in Bozeman for 36 years and Andrew has gone on to open 3 more around the Gallatin Valley.  He received his real estate license in 2001 and specializes in commercial and business properties.

In 2003 Andrew was elected to the Bozeman City Commission. He served as Mayor for the City of Bozeman during his last two years of service.  He has been very active in the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce, the Elks Club, only this year being named Elk of the Year for his hard work and dedication to the Elks, and the Hoop Shoot for local area kids.

Andrew is very hard working and honest and knows how to get the job done.  He is very people oriented and loves making new friends.  In his free time he can be seen hitting the links at the local golf course or flying his airplane overhead.

No matter the task big or small Andrew is always willing to help find a solution and get the job done. Andrew is available to help with all your real estate needs and is very knowledgeable of the Gallatin Valley and the business and commercial market.

Andrew lives in Bozeman with his wife and two children. He is a big supporter of local business and athletics.
